When do you feel like the strongest version of yourself? I feel the strongest when I’m writing.

How do you hope to inspire the next generation of women? I want to help teach women, and everyone, that ultimately everything is all about love.

If you could spend an afternoon with any woman past or present — who would it be and what would you ask them? I would spend an afternoon with St. Vincent. I would tell her how grateful I am for her music and I would ask if she’d be willing to share the stories behind the songs on ’Strong Mercy’.
